Lynx was founded in 1997 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, then in a while the new office in Moscow was opened.

Lynx is among Russia’s largest system integrators and most vigorously developing companies in the sector of information technology. The development strategy of Lynx includes investment in the R&D in Information Technology. So in 2003 the hardware/software facility named Data Processing Center for UNIX-technologies was established on the base of Lynx. So far such a UNIX-datacenter is the only in Russia and CIS.
